The Alcázar of Segovia is a castle in Segovia, Spain, that dates back to the 12th century. Having served as a fortress, a royal palace, a prison, the seat for the Royal Artillery College and a military academy, it is also one of the castles upon which Walt Disney based the design of Cinderella’s Castle.
