The Torre dei Lamberti (Lamberti Tower), the tallest tower in Verona, rises 84 meters above the ground and dates back to the 12th century.
On the eastern side of Piazza delle Erbe in Verona, lies the Arco della Costa which leads you to Piazza dei Signori.
The Ponte Scaligero, or Ponte di Castel Vecchio, is a bridge in Verona, connecting the Castel Vecchio to the other side of the river Adige, built around 1354 by Cangrande II della Scala to provide for an easy escape from the castle in case of rebellion.
After being completely destroyed in World War II, it was reconstructed using original pieces found intact in the area.
